COVERGIRL Sofia Vergara made a big statement at last night’s Met Ball red carpet with her bright “grapey-pink” lip color and Marchesa dress. MMC & COVERGIRL partnered with Sofia’s makeup artist, Kayleen McAdams, to share the scoop on how she created Sofia’s stunning look with beauty and entertainment media, resulting in coverage on Beauty Blogging Junkie, Glamour.com, USMag.com, Allure.com, PeopleStyleWatch.com and Beauty and the Feast.
Yesterday MMC hosted an event with Pat McGrath, Global Creative Design Director of Procter & Gamble Cosmetics to share the top beauty trends from the Autumn/Winter ’12 Fashion Week runways with print and online beauty media. Media were able to experience new runway beauty trends firsthand via makeup sessions where they were replicated using COVERGIRL products.
MMC encouraged media attendees to use hashtag #covergirltrends to share their experience with their followers in real time and poll them for questions to ask Pat during the Q&A portion of the event. COVERGIRL Taylor Swift received the ultimate honor at the Kid’s Choice Awards this past Saturday, accepting the Big Help Award, presented to her by Michelle Obama. COVERGIRL partnered with makeup artist Lorrie Turk to get the details on how she created the timeless beauty look on Taylor, complete with a bright coral lip and pretty flushed cheeks. MMC shared the expert beauty tips with the brand’s top online beauty and entertainment media, resulting in secured coverage on Beautiful Makeup Search, Hollywood Life, and Total Beauty.
