The Expansion of Mobile Path-to-Purchase

By 2015, a majority of brick-and-mortar transactions are expected to take place on mobile devices.

Millenials (ages 18-26) and Gen-Xers (ages 27-39) make up almost three-fourths of the community that’s already doing this. The most popular categories for mobile purchases are retail, fast food and mass transit.

Deloitte predicts that location-based services, e-coupons and mobile ads could become a 24 billion market.
