Vice President, Health & WellBeing
The Vice President will lead the account team on the strategic planning and execution of the PR program for one of the world’s leading biotechnology companies.
As a team leader the VP; ensures professional development of self and team members; leads client meetings; manages multiple projects at a time; mobilizes and motivates the account team; participates in new business / organic growth opportunities; serves as a member of the MMC Management Committee
As a client manager the VP; manages and meets client expectations and goals; develops effective work plans to ensure team success; acts as a trusted partner and thought leader capable of giving senior client counsel on programs and strategic direction; is fiscally responsible and commercially astute
The VP should be an exceptional relationship builder who understands the importance of developing and cultivating relationships both with the media, clients and agency partners.
In order to be considered for this opportunity a candidate must have a history of and passion for leading public relations efforts for large Rx brands in the infectious disease category. Experience working across other healthcare categories is a major plus, as is having science know how. The successful candidate must have experience and training gained from working at a large public relations agency. Additionally, proven success at the VP level or equivalent is desired.
