Account Supervisor / Senior Account Executive, Social Media
If you have a passion for, and, interest in all things social media, a great understanding of pop culture, developed relationships with online editors, an ability to speak to and understand the varying needs of online influencers, excellent writing and communications skills plus a relentless drive to produce results – then this job is for you!
Key responsibilities:
- Offering POVs on specific issues based on your communications/marketing experience, understanding of Social Media and the best interests of the client
- Pitching online media
- Negotiating project details with both internal and external clients and determining staffing needs to deliver on time and within budget
- Meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks
- Working with the MMC account teams to assist with the formulation of appropriate strategies and tactics
- Representing MMC through social media participation and attending industry and client events as required
- Working with social media managers (Facebook, youtube, twitter) to produce programs that integrate online influencers and social media platforms
- Flexing that creative muscle in idea generation/brainstorming
- Undertaking administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Passion for PR and social media; finger on the pulse of the changing landscape, trends, tools and regulations of social media
- Deep knowledge and understanding of PR and previous agency experience
- Strong online media contacts
- Demonstrated participation on social media tools and platforms
- Exceptional client management skills
- Strong project management/multi tasking skills
- Self-motivated
- Team player with a strong need to succeed
- Strong organization skills – multiple projects, multiple deadlines
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate to senior staff
- 4 – 6 years PR agency experience
- Experience in beauty, food or lifestyle PR a plus
