Experience

  • As leader of Business Development for MMC HEALTH, Megan leverages the agency’s heritage in Marketing to Women to create public relations programs that touch both the minds and hearts of women patients, caregivers and influencers.  A recent example is a campaign that goes beyond disease education to provide practical advice answering an unmet need for moms of severely disabled children with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome
  • Megan has led the development and implementation of innovative PR programs, blending consumer, pharmaceutical and social marketing elements. A veteran of brand wars, Megan has played offense and defense for such high-profile brands as Victoza and Detrol as well as Zocor and Fosamax
  • She has successfully worked with influencers to help her clients grow market and mind share, including celebrities women relate to (e.g., Mary Lou Retton) and third party groups targeting women about specific health issues (e.g., American Heart Association Go Red campaign)
  • Megan’s healthcare experience includes women’s health, cardiology, diabetes, allergy, dermatology and CNS

Education/Special Skills

  • Megan graduated from Trinity College with a double major in theatre arts and economics
  • She is a member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Megan also is a recipient of the PRSA’s prestigious Silver Anvil award for a campaign focused on women and families
