Alyssa creates strategies for brands that build loyalty with target audiences such as tweens, teens and moms.
Experience
- Her experience spans the food, beverage, retail, fashion, auto, real estate, luxury and household CPG categories. She has been a senior strategic counselor for brands such as American Express, Philips Norelco, IKEA, Old Navy, Hertz, and Breville. She also has managed PR campaigns for the Cadbury gum and candy brands, Coca-Cola, Wisk, o.b., ABSOLUT and Century 21 Real Estate. At MMC, Alyssa is part of the management team of the Consumer Group, leads the Food & Beverage practice and manages several P&G accounts.
- She and her teams have won ten prestigious awards, including a Silver Anvil, PR Week and SABRE awards, including “Best Use of Digital and New Media,” and three “Campaign of the Year” awards – for her work on IKEA “Man Lives in IKEA” and for J&J’s o.b. Tampons “o.b.U.” campaign. In 2009, Alyssa was named to PR Week’s “Top 40 Under 40” list of U.S. PR Professionals.
Education/Special Skills
- Alyssa graduated from the University of Vermont and spent her junior year abroad in France, at University of Rouen.
- She participates in an annual UVM event where alumni speak to graduating seniors about the job market and she mentors students interested in pursuing careers in PR.
