Ariana Finlayson named on PRSA NY’s 15 Under 35
Ariana Finlayson, Senior Digital Engagement Strategist at MMC, has been named as a recipient of PRSA NY’s inaugural 15 Under 35 Awards. Hailing from corporations, agencies and academia, the award recognizes the most inspired and inspiring young PR professionals in the New York metro area.
Ariana’s career began in editorial writing, with a focus on fashion, beauty and pop culture, working on the staffs at Hearst Magazines Digital Media (RealBeauty.com) and Wenner Media (UsMagazine.com). Now as a leader of social strategy on COVERGIRL, Ariana has demonstrated passion, curiosity and the ability to intuitively translate pop culture insights into tangible strategies and tactics to maintain the brand’s relevance with millennials.
Working hand-in-hand with the COVERGIRL team, Ariana has helped the brand grow its social footprint by six times and expand from two social platforms to eight. Additionally, her work has been recognized in prominent industry outlets, such as AdWeek and Mediabistro.com, as shining examples of best-in-class social media work.
Outside her role at MMC, Ariana shares her social media expertise as an adjunct professor at Newhouse NYC for Syracuse University.
