NEW YORK – Marina Maher Communications (MMC) announces two promotions in its Media Connections practice. Suzanne Haber has been promoted to Managing Director and Janene Ferrara to Senior Vice President. Media Connections is a fully devoted team led by experts in the fields of traditional and social media, special events and lifestyle trends.
For the past nine years, Haber has guided the continued growth of MMC’s Media Department within Media Connections, while imprinting on all agency PR media strategies for current and prospective clients. Her expertise in traditional and social/digital media has delivered substantial coverage for clients including CoverGirl, Dawn and Swarovski. She also has played a lead role in developing the Audiovox team and growing the business. Haber will continue to report to Paula McMartin, head of Media Connections.
Specializing in healthcare media, Ferrara has played a significant role in building the Healthcare Practice through her new business efforts. Since joining MMC in 2005, she has provided incisive media counsel for clients including Millennium Pharmaceuticals (VELCADE), Pfizer (DETROL LA) and GlaxoSmithKline (Veramyst). She will continue to report to Haber.
